Tonight I went over to my sister’s place to finish her state taxes-we had done her federals back in January. And when she was bringing back home she wanted to know what I wanted to eat. I said, “just take me up to 95^th street. I need to put this rebate for some computer RAM in my bank before the check expires. I’ll find something to eat up there; it’s a bunch of joints up that way. When we finally got up there it was pretty much wall to wall hamburger places. And I decided to go for White Castle’s. For those of you NOT in Chicago the White Castle chain, I think, started in Detroit but it’s still really big here in the Chicago. They have them frozen now, so you can buy them in the grocery store. That is, IF you’re so in inclined. Because man, people have a love it or hate it attitude about them. It’s a tiny little burger, so the idea is that you buy a bunch of them.

Yes. Yes I know I’m like 2 posts behind with 2 wonderful cliff hangers still hanging. But I’ve been busy! Seriously, there’s a whooooole bunch going on behind the scenes. For example to your right is a Newsletter sign up that you should be signing up for!!! And I’ve gone through a lot of trouble creating a super secret page with a surprise gift (my 1 minute 44 second masterpiece of a short “film”). Plus I was making a website for my mom’s mail box rental place called Mail Box Depot right here in Chicago. AND on top of that I’ve been creating my brand new…uh..”themed” blog. I’ll give you hint about that one, it’s called BigAsstastic.com.

I was intending to write about DSL high speed internet today but this one was just too much to pass up. “I probably came on her ass.” Normally that’s not a “probably” situation. I’m usually pretty sure about where I came. But that’s neither here nor there because this is all about Chris Rock and HIS ejaculate, not mine. Here’s a sample.

I just want to get the word out that the show is coming on again. It actually came on the 13^th also, but it must be getting requested because it’s coming on AGAIN Monday the 17th. I suppose you could say I listen to a good amount of non-commercial radio. That would include both college radio and public radio. And looking back I can also safely add public TV to that grouping. You might know it as PBS. The funny thing about PBS is that I think I was reading not long ago on Wikipedia that it’s actually not that old, like the late 60’s. So it was born right around the time that I was. It was created because nobody knew how many stations would one day exist, so they wanted to carve out a little space for the “public good.” The upsides of these stations are quite numerous, even in today’s world, but one of the best perks is the lack of commercials. The downside of the deal is “pledge time.”
