You hit the nail on the head, from 9/11 to paper cutout characters with their hipster lives and complete lack of viewer sympathy. I didn’t check the reviews before I saw the movie–I was hoping to be treated to real drama and suspense. Guess I’ll have to wait for 10,000 B.C.

Yeah I’m hoping the Alien/Predator movie will have a little bite to it-if nothing else it looks like a new level of violence has been reached. And here in Chicago they just finished the Batman movie, but then Heath died this week, so with the Joker dead it’s going to put a sad note on the whole affair.
