I just want to get the word out that the show is coming on again. It actually came on the 13^th also, but it must be getting requested because it’s coming on AGAIN Monday the 17th. So the point of this blog post is to get pictures up to entice you today! Maybe I can do a little recap of the show. So I guess you could say SPOILERS are ahead.

Basically it’s a history of Chicago show and the history of this city is…both straightforward and practical while being messy and haphazard at the same time. So much of the early history was about race. The Irish, the Black, and of course those long gone Natives who, if I remember my city history correctly, gave us our city name (which I think had to do with smelly onions-you know this place was swampland right?). So early in the program that look at buildings, and more specifically the paintings on the building. Like, here’s a couple of images of a building with an old “racially themed” advertisement, and below is how it was originally intended.
